Hüseyin ALTUNBÜKEN (1913, MALATYA - 1993, İSTANBUL)
The founder of the Altunbüken Group and the eternal chairman...

He has started with his work life in 1930 by working as an apprentice with the jewellry craftsman in Malatya. He has developed himself in short time and has opened his first shop with his name in 1940. He has developed the jewelry trade not only in Malatya but also in the neighbouring cities also and he has decided to transfer his company to Istanbul in 1955. The most important factor under the change of the location was the desire to open to the world, which has never gone away. He has continued with his trading activities in Istanbul Bazaar and has enlarged his company with success. Hüseyin Altunbüken, who has argued that to be involved with the production as the sole business does not mean anything, has developed the marketing method, which is known in the sector as the ‘’ bag carrying’’ where the products were taken to the customer to see, by creating the marketing techniques that were not tried before. He has started in the construction sector, which he always loved and believed after the success he had obtained in the jewelry business in 1962.

He has always argued that the creation of the team sprit was the most important element for the successful progress all of his life and invested in the human resources and completed many striking projects together with his team.
